ReelChicago.com was founded by Ruth L Ratny in 2002 as a continuation of the service she produced as founder/editor of the Original Screen Magazine (not to be confused with the present publication of that name). Called “the first lady of film in Chicago,” she won many honors and awards for her contributions in helping build the Chicago film industry.
