U.S. TV audiences get an unusually personal window into the challenges of teen pregnancy this October, when the Kindling Group’s documentary “A Doula Story” has its broadcast premiere on PBS.
“A Doula Story” follows pregnancy coach Loretha Weisinger of the Chicago Doula Project. A former teen mother herself, Weisinger guides pregnant teens toward becoming successful mothers.
The doc has its local broadcast premiere Oct. 6 on Ch. 11 at 8 p.m.
