DigitasLBi names two to top new leadership positions

DigitasLBi named two for top executive positions. Jason Kodish was promoted to global chief data scientist. Jennifer Striegel was hired as the new SVP/Brand Strategy for the Chicago and San Francisco offices, headquartered in Chicago.

Kodish was promoted from regional SVP, North America Strategy & Analytics Lead, based in Boston.

He will lead the global 350-person Strategy & Analytics capability and will be responsible for driving the agency’s global data initiatives and growth of existing proprietary analytics tools.

Over the course of his DigitasLBi career, Kodish developed numerous analytics tools and methodologies, and the social listening analytics methodologies. 

“Now, more than ever before, technology has facilitated explosive growth o the opportunities – globally – to incorporate data, insights and intelligence,” he says.

A Chicago native, Kodish has 17 years of industry experience, having held marketing and consulting positions at Divine Interventures, Quris, Buzz Divine, and Kestenbaum & Company.

Striegel was hired from Kimberly-Clark where she most recently was Global Senior Marketing Director for the Intimate Care Section.

Earlier, she was CEO at InStadium, a sports stadium experiential marketing company and also held brand management positions at SCA and Yum! Restaurants International in Europe and Asia.

Striegel previously worked in North America servicing Unilever and Cadbury Schweppes she Jennifer also participated in the development and deployment of both corporations’ Global Center of Excellence and Integrated Marketing Capabilities. 

She started her career at Starcom MediaVest Group and DDB Chicago, working in strategic planning, media and account management.

Both appointments follow DigitasLBi being named “Most Awarded Agency” of the decade at the recent 2014 IAB MIXX Awards, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
