Mediavest|Spark’s Boothe to receive CAF Silver Medal

CHRIS BOOTHE, CEO OF MEDIAVEST|SPARK is the 2016 recipient of the Chicago Advertising Federation’s (CAF) Silver Medal Award, which recognizes a distinguished member of the Chicago advertising community for their career contributions and accomplishments.

He will be feted at the Jan. 17 CAF dinner in his honor at the Radisson Blu hotel.

As CEO of Mediavest|Spark USA, Publicis Media’s third largest global agency brandm Boothe oversees more than 1,500 professionals across the country working on nearly 100 accounts, in six offices from LA to New York. He is credited with growing its boutique agency, Spark, to nearly $1 billion in annual billings, which was then combined with larger Mediavest for a $10 billion operation.

Prior to leading Mediavest | Spark, Boothe spent 25 years at Leo Burnett becoming Starcom’s COO and also running new business efforts during the one of agency’s most storied periods of growth.

“I’ve always been competitive,” says Boothe. “But I’m equally committed to building long-term relationships and loyalty. I like to think that’s what sets our agency culture apart.”

THE CHICAGO TEAM of SAG AFTRA Actors & Artists members along with colleagues, friends and family on Sept. 25 will join in the 2017 5K Chicago Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The team is dedicating its walk in honor of Ken Howard, SAG AFTRA’s late president for his support, faith and dedication to the AA Unite team and the National Alzheimer’s Association. Howard died at 71 in May of unknown causes.

The Chicago Walk starts at Montrose Ave. and Simonds Drive’ registrations 8 a.m., ceremony, 9:30 a.m.
