New owner for Thea Flaum Productions: employee Dan Lombardi takes over July 1

Thea Flaum, TV show producer and trailblazer, has sold her 23-year old company to employee Dan Lombardi, and will move into “a new and exciting challenge” as head of a new non-profit organization.

Lombardi will officially assume ownership on July 1 of one of Chicago’s top and most prolific national TV programming companies.

Few companies can measure up to the output of Thea Flaum Productions and Grand Noble Productions, a new in use for a while and which Lombardi will transition into over time.

Since 1984, the company has produced more than 22 TV series, adding up to an amazing 501 individual shows, or an extraordinary 21 shows a year.
