Ora Interactive promotes Nieman to CSO and hires Wesolowski as Director of Experience Design

Chicago-based interactive agency Ora Interactive has named Andrew Nieman Chief Strategy Officer.

As Ora’s Director of Business Development over the past three-and-a-half years, Nieman was a key asset to securing partnerships with the likes of Chervon, InterPark and Southeastern Grocers. Along the way, he helped “scale the studio’s headcount by 80% year-over-year,” according to a recent press release.

Prior to joining Ora, he was a Board Member with BarVision, which produces inventory-tracking software for the hospitality industry.

Ora also hired Michael Wesolowski as Director of Experience Design.

A 2013 graduate of DePaul University’s Master of Science program and a 2009 graduate of its Master of Arts program, Wesolowski notched significant experience in digital research, user experience and sales before becoming a member of the Ora force.

Ora Interactive is a leading app monger based in Chicago. Boasting a large portfolio of digital solutions, the shop has helped streamline consumer tasks like dry cleaning and industry practices like surgical preparation.

 
ELIAS appoints two new Executive Producers

Mat Martin has been named Executive Producer for the Chicago region of ELIAS, the bicoastal music, branding, and library production shop.

The New York native studied Music Business at Columbia College before launching his career as a Marketing / Licensing Rep with Chicago’s Uncommon Trax.

Martin complements his formal training and professional development with experience composing, performing and recording various bands during his formative years back east.

Also new to ELIAS is Emily Kimball, a producer who recently joined the shop’s New York City office.

Kimball arrives by way of Pulse Music, where she spent six years in a business development and marketing role. Before joining Pulse, she earned a Masters in music from the University of Florida.

Kimball is also a lifelong musician, songwriter and front woman of the Emily Kimball Band, which is slated to release an album in 2018.

Described in a recent press release as, “a top tier music agency bringing cinematic virtuosity to projects across commercials, features, television and branded content,” ELIAS’ sound can be heard on branded work for the likes of Verizon, Toyota, and the National Hockey League.
