FCB CHICAGO’S NEW EVP/ECD is Susan Treacy, with more than 20 years of agency creative experience, who moved over from six years as Leo Burnett’s EVP/CD, where she oversaw a suite of P&G brands including the two-time Cannes-winning “Mean Stinks” platform for Secret Deodorant.  

Along the way, she has amassed an impressive portfolio of category expertise and accolades from award shows such as Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Andys, Effies, Clios, Art Directors Club and more. 

CCO Todd Tilford calls Treacy “an extremely intelligent, strategic, innovative creative, and her leadership style fits beautifully with our open source, collaborative, rapid-prototyping, fully integrated model.”

Aldo at FCB Chicago: Ten-year agency veteran John Kenny to chief strategy officer, from EVP/head of planning.  The CSO position had been vacant since Jamie Shuttleworth moved to McGarryBowen a couple of years ago.

SAG AFTRA IS HOSTING the new Chicago Creatives Cocktail Party Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Rockit Bar & Grill, 22 W. Hubbard, 5-7 p.m. This is the monthly networking event that brings together members of seven visual media-related organizations.

ASB CELEBRATES ITS THIRD YEAR in Chicago with a Nov. 5 “ASB Big Wig Karaoke Blow Out” party – the wig part being literally wigs. “Yes, lots and lots of colorful acrylic wigs,” says Animated Storyboards’ managing director Paul Grajek, “and prizes for the best wig hair styles.”

The ASB staff came up with wigs as a way to spice up the evening and even invited two hair stylists to give guests complimentary hair styles for the first hour or so of the party, he says.
